Welcome to Vocal Bliss Records! I'm Grant Anthem, a music producer / song writer / artist from New Alexandria, Pennsylvania. I grew up in Western Pennsylvania where I attended Derry Area High School. I am the son of Gary Wayne Friedline and Evelyn Jane Friedline. When I was young I wanted to be a song writer but there was a big problem - I was terrible at it.
It wasn't until I turned 40+ that I finally wrote my first song. During the COVID lockdowns in 2020 many people were exploring new hobbies. I decided to begin learning acoustic guitar, and although I'm still no guitar virtuoso (yes I can play about a dozen songs with basic chords), practicing guitar and singing along helped re-wire my brain and improve my musical skills in a major way. My first song "Stop and Tell Me," came together in just a few days. That song was inspired by Donna Lewis's 1990's classic "I Love You Always Forever." After that, songs started pouring out of me. Within just a few months I went from never writing a song to finishing in the Top 10 of the 2022 Beatstars Songwriting Contest with my chill song "My Baby's Down to Ride." Since then, I've connected with some incredible people in the music industry. My pop song "Stop and Tell Me" was played on Radio Love Live New York, followed by "Royal Romance" and "So Fine – Vocal Bliss Remix". My catalog includes Pop, R&B, Techno, Dance, Chill, and even Sad songs. I'm currently releasing singles from my upcoming freshman album "Love Returns,". "Love Returns" features 14 talented singers, 11 producers, and 4 instrumentalists who made this dream come true. Vocal Bliss is a record label focused on amazing vocal talent. Our goal is to treat singers like gold and make golden records. It is an honor if you decide to listen to one of my songs. If I have produced or written a song that is worthy of playing on repeat I feel Vocal Bliss has been a tremendous success! |
